Why it’s a bad idea for an entrepreneur to have preconceived notions?
Preconceived notions, also sometimes referred to as unconscious biases, are opinions that are formed without any proof or evidence. Examples include prejudices, stereotypes, and various other types of unconscious bias.
The problem with holding preconceived notions as being true is that they can lead us to very negative and critical beliefs about others, which can affect our behaviors toward others.
It closes too many doors, and modern-day business running is about building relationships and finding collaboration opportunities.
If I meet you after a month or so 2nd time, I won’t be holding grudges from our previous conversations.
Here are a few reasons why-
We could have caught each other on a bad day or time.
People grow all the time. (At least I do.) I can point out opinions I was against 4 months back, but now, I understand the other person's view.
Maybe you, too, had a preconceived notion against me.
This law only reverses when someone has already cheated you in business or life. That is where you can draw a line.
But other than that, lose all kinds of preconceived notions for people and Collective Consciousness for groups.
Judge them on your own.
